The Estate Of Professor Stephen Hawking has announced his support for Save the Children by starring in a new ad marking the third anniversary of the start of the unrest in Syria.

Hawking speaks the words of Syrian children such as 'I cry all the time' and 'my house was burnt down, everything was gone' as their photographs are shown, ending with a shot of him in his wheelchair. Hawking commented 'We must work together to end this war and to protect the children of Syria. I am giving my voice to the children of Syria to raise awareness of their suffering and to raise money to provide food, shelter and medicines'.
